Keepsake Production Training

Once you have registered as a Keepsake Consultant, you can significantly boost your income by specializing in a particular area of production and upgrading to become a Senior Keepsake Consultant! You can subscribe initially to either our Clay Impressions or 3D Casting Course, then after 3 months of successful trading, will become eligible to attend any one of our additional Keepsake Production Courses.

Baby 3D Casting Certificate Course

This two day course will teach you how to:

• Take moulds using alginate via a number of methods.
• Casting the moulds with plaster with tips on avoiding air bubbles.
• Finishing the Casting in our ‘Antique Effects.’
• Framing your castings.
• Tips on successfully marketing your business.

Includes: All materials used on the course, including 3 different sized box frames so that your finished casts can be taken home, framed and used as samples!

After 3 months of successfully operating your Clay Impression Business or 3D Casting Business, you can subscribe to any one of our additional Keepsake Production Courses, including our Silver Fingerprint Jewellery Course, where the use of your kiln can be maximized further – providing you with an additional, highly profitable revenue stream!

Clay Impressions Certificate Course

This two day course will teach you how to:

• Prepare your clay for taking impressions.
• Techniques for taking a good impression.
• Drying/Storage.
• Marking the Clay with the child’s name.
• Glazing and Firing.
• Mounting, Framing and Presentation.
• Tips on successfully marketing your business.

Includes: All materials used on the course; including 3 different sized box frames so that your finished imprints can be taken home and used as samples.

Pottery Prints Workshop

This one day course will teach you how to:

• Use the magic prints to take prints of baby’s hands and feet.
• Scan the prints on the computer.
• Manipulate on the computer, changing the prints colours, adding text, fitting a template etc.
• Sending off for printing using decals to do it yourself.
